Changing blog....

So yes I am bored again. I am thinking I may get a new kit and see if Andi can do her magic again. I want it to reflect me... black, red and white (GO MUSTANGS!) Yes I still love my alma mater's school colors. I loved my high school years for the most part and I love Westfield High (even if its not the same ole school now).

I had the best best best time then. Yeah there were a few bad things but isnt there always? I joined the Church then, I met and awesome family who I love to this day (I would and do claim them as my own sometimes!), I met some of the best people and had some of the best times then. Most people do not like the high school time, but I loved it. I miss that life. I can hardly believe that in one short year my baby monkey #1 will be embarking on HER high school years. Isnt life strange?

It is very strange for us we typically have the teen age LOVE-HATE syndrome. We LOVE LOVE LOVE Twilight books, Moonlight (Mick St. John is SOOO Hot! (oops did I say that?)), We love a lot of the same things. Her teen age hormones drive me to the brink though. Its very hard on me and her.

Anywho like I said I am changing my blog. If anyone knows how and wants to let me know otherwise I will try and get Andi to do it again! hehe

Twilight...

So as you can see The fourth book is coming very very soon. What you dont see is the Twilight movie comes out in December too! 12.12.2008 coming to a theater near you is TWILIGHT THE MOVIE! It looks awesome and we are definitely going. Well Monkey #1 and I are going. If they have a midnight showing we will be there! haha. If they sell the last book at midnight we maybe going too. Depends if we will be en route already for our vacation or we will be waiting till the 2nd to go. Anywho I love love this series.

First class is DONE!

I am happy to report a B+ in the class. YES! I know one thing I do not like about the classes. I do not like LEARNING TEAMS! I do not like placing my grade in the hands of others. I had an A in the class until I was forced to place my fate in others.

Anywho I am now into my second class and its on Management. I really like it so far and the best thing about the class so far..... TWO people are from my stomping grounds. I surely miss the ole homestead and wish I could go back more. So if your family HI! I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU! If your friends well you know I love and miss you too. I just miss them more haha.

School is on...

Okay so school is on. Its definitely different. I am officially done with my Associate of Art. My Bachelors program is off and running. My youngest monkey is officially enrolled in school for the fall. WOW! I will have an 8th grader, a 6th grader, a third grader and a Kinder kid come Sept. WOW!

We are still waiting on the breakdown in scholarships for my oldest. It seems to be taking forever. Anyways we are working on life it self. I have a friend who has a few medical issues needing a bit of help over the next few weeks so I will be busy busy with that. I have her, my own children's needs, my school work, and my own issues (like housework!) to deal with. WOW I hope I get some sleep in during this huge undertaking!

10 million years...

So I know its been 10 million years since I posted. So lets start at the beginning why dont we....

Monkey #3 has been back to the orthopedic surgeon... Yeah I said BACK! Now we have to get a second opinion because even though the knee has swollen almost everyday for a month the surgeon thinks thats okay and wants to leave it alone. GRRR! Also on this front the perky lil thing decided to run home on Sunday and gave the eye a nice WHACK on the tailight of my car. YEAH Set off the alarm he did. So poor lil monkey has a bit of a bruise on the eye and got sick to boot! Soccer is probably why the knee is still messed up.

Monkey #4 got all the immunizations up to date this week... Yeah wasnt fun 5 shots, blood draw and a urinalysis too. Yeah so not fun. Consequently this monkey is now sick too.

Monkey #2 is loving violin still. Looking forward to her spring concert as they are doing it with the local high school orchestra. Soccer is the other passion at the moment. Whoohooo... they have won all but one game. Bowling is still there too. Sprained her wrist a few weeks ago too. YIKES! Still played in the game though the next day.

Monkey #1 took up soccer this time too. Winning all but one game also. YEAH! While there is no natural grace on the field it is getting much better and the hard work learning a new sport is paying off. Went to state bowling championships this weekend and did well. YEAH! Also passed a new milestone.... We officially have a teenager... will post more on that later whenever she earns her party haha.

As for me and the hubby. We are still alive. Both still working on our degrees. I have finished my Associates and he is almost done with his. I start my classes next week for my bachelors... he will start sometime in june. Add to this the other myriad things I do and he does and we are all quite busy. Right now we have 2 going to church on two different nights... next fall we will have 3 GO FIGURE! By the time my oldest one is 16 all four will be going to activities OH BOY! haha.

Anyways I was reading another blog and they were talking about the Twilight Series. Welll when I went to the Barnes and Nobles the other day guess what I saw? For those of you who dont know it Book 4 is coming out on August 2!It is called Breaking Dawn I am so excited! I loved the first 3 books. I cant wait for my fourth book. I also started another Vamp series. It is a little iffy for us but its from the teen section. I am going to let my oldest read it BUT only after I mark out a few words and a few items. It isnt very deep but still it isnt right for us. I am seeing a few others out there. I am glad I read this one before giving it to my oldest. I may have to rethink this series for her. I understand it and may let her finish but only after I pour them over.

Anyways what have you been reading? If anything? Any recommendations out there? I will try pretty much anything....
