So I am going to post this from last week. ...

Happy Birthday to my HONEY! Yes My husband had a birthday on the 22nd. He turned 39. Next year he will be the BIG FORTY! WOW! Well I was going to add his picture umm but the picture button does not seem to be working GRRR! Anyways he is the biggest Starbucks person so we gave him a gift card to Starbucks and a gift card to Chipotle. He also got the money for a new IPHONE. (I WANT ONE!) We also went out to eat at Applebee's. I can hardly believe we have been together another birthday. It doesnt seem like that long ago that we were walking down the road and he proposed to me (on HIS birthday!) How funny was that?

Anyways I love him and he is a good man who provides well for us.

when it rains it pours...

I still havent posted anything about birthdays or the finishing of the vacation or anything like that. GRRR!

The good thing is I started a 2 week break from classes today and so I do not have to worry about that for a few weeks so I think I will focus on the blog and my volunteer time at the elementary school. Yeah so far I have logged in OVER 20 hours of volunteer time there.... How is that for a full time student and mom? I spend a lot of time in monkey #4's class because the teacher had too many students in there for ONE person to feasibly manage. Today they were supposed to have the new class open so each class lost a few students. Hopefully that happened.

In monkey #3's class I file lots and lots of papers. haha. Today though I couldnt do it because my hallway flooded and I have these mongo huge fans and some other equipment that is supposed to be picked up that they havent called about or come by for grrr!

I may be on the road to being well...

Can you believe it? I am still coughing, but I am feeling a lot better. I am still tired (gotta love the bodies response to antibiotics), but I dont feel like all I can do is sleep.

Guess what? I have 8 days until I go on a 2 wk break! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! I cant wait until I dont have any school work due for two weeks. I cannot stand doing so many projects all the time. This week we have two individual projects due by Saturday AND a group project due the same day (all for ONE class!) I am going to start on my papers tomorrow. Hoping to finish the two individual papers by Wednesday and then the myriad discussion questions she poses and my portion of the group project by friday morning. Then I will be FREE!

Jumblings...

First yes I changed the background. I figure seeing as next week we have THREE birthdays I would change the background now. We have Monday, Tuesday AND Friday all with bdays. So its a HAPPY BIRTHDAY WEEK!

Second I hope this crud leaves my lungs prior to next week. I dont want my birthday to be ruined because I am SICK! That would totally suck!

Yes My Birthday is one of the ones coming next week. Then my Hubby's is the day before mine and my second monkey turns 11 next week too. BUSY BUSY WEEK! I remember it all so clearly too. But that is a post for another day.

Yes I am sick now. Baby monkey passed her stuff to the mama monkey GRRR! Hopefully the doc kicks this stuff out today! Or tries too. I promise I will finish the vacation eventually.

So things just keep on getting worse....

Monkey #4 still is racking up the 102 temps. So we called in today they said no appointments a nurse will call you. I waited and waited after three hours I got her ready for the ER. We are walking out the door when the nurse calls back... take her to the ER... I said thanks I was. So we went in and they listen to her run a rapid strep but everything sounds and looks okay... ahh but to be safe we are going to do some Xrays. So we go over there to Xray and after they do that the docs come and say good news and bad news.... Good news NO STREP, bad news She has pneumonia. So they give me a scrip for amoxocil and a note saying NO school until monday at the earliest and she has to be seen again on Friday. Okay so I have the appt for friday got the scrip and a humidifier like she suggested. Get home and give her the amoxocil..... she PUKED it up. So we are going to try again if it comes back up we have to go back to the ER or try and get in with her PCM and get a new antibiotic.

Yeah NO school work has been done yet by her OR me. GRR! So yeah no new updates yet.

Anywho monkey #4 is still running a fever. JOY! NOT! So we thought it had broke earlier today... no such luck its back. She is a clingon and hates to leave me alone. We need a few things and I cant go get them because I do not want to haul her out. I guess I will have no choice soon. I am supposed to go to volunteer in monkey #3 class tomorrow and a docs appt on thursday. GRRR! GET OVER IT ALREADY! Anywho I only had a limited time to update so I will eventually catch up ....

and I will tell you about some other things.

First week of school for the kids...

Yeah they all went and had a blast... only bad thing??? Monkey #4 woke up yesterday coughing a bit (even taking allergy pills) and by the time I picked her up after school her voice was totally scratchy and hoarse by bedtime she was running a lowgrade fever. So not good that she is sick but atleast its the weekend. So she has time to recover it... sorry for the break in regular talking hahah.

Santa Fe

So we went to Santa Fe on the 9th. We got there and we walked around the market place. Now comes the time for our lesson. You know how when you watch Rachel Ray or a few other cooking shows they tell you to ask the locals for recommendations for on where to eat? Do your OWN research! We asked two people they both said OOOO vacationer I am sure because they both sent us to the same place. Casa Sena or something like that. Anywho we have 4 kids in sports shorts and tshirts and us in dressed almost the same thing. This is a fancy like gourmet mexican restaurant. Yeah we spent 75$ on lunch. I was livid and ready to go. Anywho the food was okay but we know to never go there again as we spent the entire time trying to make sure our kids didnt stain the white table cloth or spill anything. We left Santa Fe mid afternoon. We decided to go to Las Vegas NM just to say we have been to Las Vegas haha. We went and then cut across to Tucumcari and on into Amarillo. About the time we got to Las Vegas guess what?




Yeah we hit ANOTHER storm. It followed us off and on to Amarillo. We got to Amarillo early enough for the kids to take a swim in the hotel pool, which they loved. I did all the clothes used up to this point and they had a business center so I got some much needed homework done too. Next installment tomorrow.

Vacation...

I want to post about our vacation before I forget but I never seem to have time. Even now I dont have the time. GRRR! Hopefully next week isnt as chaotic as this week has been. So I will post a bit then have to finish the rest of it later.

We left on August 8th and we went to Flagstaff. We got in late and barely got a hotel room. It was a horrid room I swear it had bedbugs. EWWW! I cant even remember the name but it was nasty lil place. The next morning we went and ate at this cool little restaurant and drove up to the Grand Canyon. We went to the southern rim and looked around and hit the gift shop. It was cool the kids all loved it. I took pics but cannot find the disposable camera HAHA. Probably fell out of the car along the way. We left early in the afternoon and got back to Flagstaff just as a huge storm hit. We decided to go on further. So we left Flagstaff and drove to Albuquerque (how do you spell that?) and stayed there. We got a GREAT room and we were much happier. The next morning we got up and drove into Santa Fe. ...

Wow summer is over and its back to school....

As you can see I did change up my blog. It even looks semi normal. Bad thing??? I do not know how to get the purple out of my siggie. haha. I changed everything else with minimal help though YEAH!

Well we have been home a few days and I am worn out. A three week vacation where you go go go go and go some more is tiring. I will have to update you all later on this but its been a long August and now we are into September.

My baby started Kindergarten today and its full day. I didnt know what to do with myself. I have a third grader too. Then two in Middle school. Wow when did my kids grow so old??

Anyways still dragging bottom. I will post again soon.
