10 million years...

So I know its been 10 million years since I posted. So lets start at the beginning why dont we....

Monkey #3 has been back to the orthopedic surgeon... Yeah I said BACK! Now we have to get a second opinion because even though the knee has swollen almost everyday for a month the surgeon thinks thats okay and wants to leave it alone. GRRR! Also on this front the perky lil thing decided to run home on Sunday and gave the eye a nice WHACK on the tailight of my car. YEAH Set off the alarm he did. So poor lil monkey has a bit of a bruise on the eye and got sick to boot! Soccer is probably why the knee is still messed up.

Monkey #4 got all the immunizations up to date this week... Yeah wasnt fun 5 shots, blood draw and a urinalysis too. Yeah so not fun. Consequently this monkey is now sick too.

Monkey #2 is loving violin still. Looking forward to her spring concert as they are doing it with the local high school orchestra. Soccer is the other passion at the moment. Whoohooo... they have won all but one game. Bowling is still there too. Sprained her wrist a few weeks ago too. YIKES! Still played in the game though the next day.

Monkey #1 took up soccer this time too. Winning all but one game also. YEAH! While there is no natural grace on the field it is getting much better and the hard work learning a new sport is paying off. Went to state bowling championships this weekend and did well. YEAH! Also passed a new milestone.... We officially have a teenager... will post more on that later whenever she earns her party haha.

As for me and the hubby. We are still alive. Both still working on our degrees. I have finished my Associates and he is almost done with his. I start my classes next week for my bachelors... he will start sometime in june. Add to this the other myriad things I do and he does and we are all quite busy. Right now we have 2 going to church on two different nights... next fall we will have 3 GO FIGURE! By the time my oldest one is 16 all four will be going to activities OH BOY! haha.

Anyways I was reading another blog and they were talking about the Twilight Series. Welll when I went to the Barnes and Nobles the other day guess what I saw? For those of you who dont know it Book 4 is coming out on August 2!It is called Breaking Dawn I am so excited! I loved the first 3 books. I cant wait for my fourth book. I also started another Vamp series. It is a little iffy for us but its from the teen section. I am going to let my oldest read it BUT only after I mark out a few words and a few items. It isnt very deep but still it isnt right for us. I am seeing a few others out there. I am glad I read this one before giving it to my oldest. I may have to rethink this series for her. I understand it and may let her finish but only after I pour them over.

Anyways what have you been reading? If anything? Any recommendations out there? I will try pretty much anything....

STATE FINALS!!

So if you remember from the past post... yeah I know smack me... its been almost a month. Anyways my oldest monkey got into STATE FINALS for her bowling league. So on May 3-4 we will be in the state finals for 12 and over scholarships competition. If your 11 and under its based off of your regional finals. 12 and up you are trying to get into state finals. So Monkey #1 got to state and Monkey #2 had a hard time that day and did poorly. BUT she tried really hard and that is all that matters.

Anyways monkey #1 and I will be going up by ourselves and staying overnight. Yeah GO BOWL!

Clarification...

So Yesterday I put as a description of my life... Mom Are we there yet NOW? Well to clarify this I guess I should explain how my life is going to be jumping this time of the year...

Monday Soccer practice 530-630
Tuesday Soccer practice 5-7, 2nd and 4th tuesday Activity Days for monkey #2
Wednesday (breathe!) Popsicle sales 2-230, Bowling 330-515, Soccer practice 530-630, YW for oldest monkey 7-830
Thursday School lets out early for #2 and 3 at 1215, then monkey #1 out at 155 with a docs appointment most Thursday afternoons, Soccer 5-7
Friday NOTHING YEAH!
Saturday Soccer, Soccer, Soccer YES That is THREE games in one day and all the other family stuff for the day.
Sunday Church and family time... except this coming sunday... sorry but there is a scholarship tournament in LA so we will be going up to that instead of church.(Maybe we can read scriptures on the way up there instead.)

So on top of all this I am going to school full time and have to fit in homework for 5 of 6 family members and keep house and grocery shop ahhaah... I think I may go pull my hair out now.. Thank you...

Into school....

So school has started and its not so bad. Its only the end of the first week though haha. Today is the soccer round up. Monkey #2 isnt going to be there because she went to Disneyland, California Adventure and Some crazy but cool restuarant (which means I know the name but cant spell it and I am not entirely sure of the name. haha)I am terrified that I let her do this. I had a bad dream that something bad happened and so I am scared for her. I cant wait till she gets home safe and sound.

I am taking Monkey #1 and 4 with our neighbor girl to Build-A-Bear today. Its our neighbors birthday and they are set to leave in a few months and she is a great girl so we are going to let her pick what she wants. Both monkeys are fighting a HORRIBLE cold though so I dont know.

Anyways thats it around here. I finally got over the stomach virus around tuesday afternoon. That was the absolute worst. How about you all how are you out in the this world?
