Well here we are in the OFFICIAL blazes of summer. Literally and figuratively. We do have a nice lil fire going about 20 miles from here...here is where you can see we actually have a few going on but this is roughly the closest.
We are already really hot and dry and in desperate need of a good rain. You cant use your ovens or really your stoves after noonish because it gets SOOO hot in the house. So we have been eating a) takeout, b) salads or c) sandwiches for over a week. Good huh? hehe We have been eating lots of fruits and veggies as you can see.
School is still rolling on. I start my new classes in 2 wks. I have my English paper almost completely done and have about a 1/4 of the other one done. Not to bad for a class that isnt over until the 15th. Monkey #1 should be getting her report card any day now and is out of school until Sept. The other monkeys that are in school have about 3 wks to go till they are out.
We are hanging in there and hoping to get to Seaworld or Legoland this summer break. We will not be going home though.

Oh well, maybe next year you'll get to come by again! Sounds like you guys are having all the heat and we're having all the rain.
